What are the benefits of Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah)?
It is He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him to do so] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And ever is He, to the believers, Merciful.
Their greeting the Day they meet Him will be, "Peace." And He has prepared for them a noble reward.
[Al-Ahzab 33:43-44]
Benefits of Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) in the light of above mentioned ayahs:
Allah confers His mercy and blessings upon the person who keeps himself occupied with dhikr of Allah. The angels pray for his forgiveness, and pray for Allah's mercy and blessings to be bestowed upon him.
Such people are in Allah's protection. Allah saves them from the path of sin and evil and guides them onto the right path; the path of hidayah.
Allah treats such believers with Grace and Mercy.
On the Day of Judgement, Allah would greet them:
[And] "Peace," a word from a Merciful Lord.
[Ya Sin 36:58]
Allah has prepared the finest reward for them.
Just think about it;
For a person who has been bestowed with Allah's mercy and blessings and for whom the angels pray 24 hours a day, how can he be anxious or stressful about any situation?
If a person obeys Allah and His Prophet صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم in every aspect of his life, keeps himself occupied with Dhikr (remembrance) of Allah, then the life he spends is truly blessed.
❌ If a person tells us to recite
to solve our financial crisis and we do so, then this does not come under Dhikr of Allah.
Dhikr is remembering Allah at all times; whether we are resting or working, standing or sitting, remembering Allah with different names, without a specific number.
So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.
[Al-Baqarah 2:152]
