Bukhari: 2014
Hadith:
Prophet of Allah ﷺ said:
O People! The Paradise has a gate called
باب الریان (Gate of Rayyan), and only the people who fasted shall be able to enter through it.
An-Nisai: 2441
Rules to follow while fasting:
- A person who is fasting should avoid Rafas (to avoid wanton and lustful behavior or speech)
- Shouting or yelling is forbidden while fasting. Luqman, the wise, advised his son to avoid shouting and yelling as the loudest yet the most awful sound is the braying of a donkey.
- Ignorance and callowness should also be avoided so as to seek the maximum rewards and goodness.
