I am a 37 years old Doctor with specialist degree in paediatrics. My Husband and I have 2 sons.
I have recently moved from Europe to Middle East. I suffer from chronic back ache diagnosed as Slip Disc and have been given multiple medications but to no avail. And the issue is getting worse overtime. I have also been advised surgery by some practitioners.
Apart from this I had done Istikhara for the relocation and my health which resulted in a horrible dream.
I am also practicing Ruqyah and was attending Hijama Sessions which too did not lead to any results.
I mainly want to be able to distinguish if my physical ailments are just a medical issue or does this have any correlation with my relocation or other factors as such Evil Eye, Magic, Jealousy etc. As they all coincide and my health is medical condition is getting worse.
I was a focused career woman who used to multitask but now a days I am just confined to the home loosing productivity and also finding it difficult to fulfill my religious duties.
Hoping to hear from you soon.
Alhamdulillah, Wassalatu Wassalam Ala Rasulillah
The Prophet, peace be upon him said, "With every sickness that Allah sends, he also sends its cure along with it.
We should believe strongly what our Prophet says. The above Hadith further says" Many a times the cure of certain sickness are discovered soon while for other sicknesses it takes time for its cure to be discovered"
There fore we should continue our medical treatment while putting our trust in Allah.
Secondly, All medicines have cure only with the permission of Allah. He gives cure whenever He wills, so you must bear it with Sabr. Do not despair the mercy of Allah.
Along with it you may recite: أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
"Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
Prophet Ayub a.s. suffered from a sickness for almost 18 years. No doctors of his time could cure him and his state was such that the people of his village dumped him out of the village out of a fear of infection. He recited the above supplications constantly. Allah responded his supplications what could not be done by medicines. After mentioning the incident of Ayub, then Allah affirms: I found Ayub extreme patient and He was so good that as long as I kept him sick he kept on complaining only to me. He didn't stop supplicating nor left his sabr nor complained about his sickness to people. Try to implement the example of Ayub a.s..
Secondly, some sickness may not be cured and remain life long, Sahih Hadith assures that, a person who could not achieve a high position in Jannah is tested by Allah with a life long sickness and he is rewarded by a lofty position in Jannah
Any hardship upon a believer, even if a thorn pricks or he stumbles upon a stone while walking, becomes a source of expiation of his sins.
Who ever bears with sabr any calamity, and he or she accepts the qadar of Allah while trying medical treatment, then there is a great news for such patient, then he/ she will be rewarded of his good deeds and with it an extra huge mountainous reward. When the person will ask for what he is rewarded? He will be told that the reward is because of his immense sabr during his hardship or illness. It will then, many people will desire to have had such hardship and would have been awarded like him. The person who will be rewarded will also ask Allah: If such is the reward for bearing with sabr, then I should have been given more hardships so that I could have been rewarded more
Finally, keep supplicating to Allah as the Hadith says: O people keep supplicating because supplications keep away those calamities which are arriving and also those which have befallen upon us.
May I suggest you a supplication for such hardships which comes form authentic hadith:
1 – It was narrated from ‘Uthmaan ibn Abi’l-‘Aas that he complained to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) about a pain in his body that he had suffered from the time he became Muslim. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: Put your hand on the part of the body that hurts and say Bismillaah (in the name of Allaah) three times. And say seven times: A’oodhu Billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajid wa uhaadhir (I seek refuge in Allaah and His power from the evil of what I feel and worry about).”
Narrated by Muslim, 2202.
2 – It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to a sick person or a sick person was brought to him, he would say: “Adhhib al-ba’s Rabb an-naas, wa’shfi anta al-Shaafi, laa shifaa’a illa shifaa’uka shifaa’an laa yughaadir saqaman (Take away the pain, O Lord of mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5351, Muslim, 2191.
If you fear or doubt of being a victim of black magic then approach some one who is very authentic in Ruqyah In sha Allah
I pray for your ease.
And Allaah knows best.
