Salaam, I am your normal Muslim Pakistani guy living in East London. I work, enjoy time with family, try to keep healthy and generally just trying to live a good life. I have been divorced for over a year, this was the first real hardship I've had in my life and thankfully it's brought me closer to Allah than I was before so after some pain and hurt I'm in a better position to hopefully be a Muslim and a better spouse. Prior and during marriage I was not very practicing and now in the last two years I have started to improve my connection with Allah by trying to establish Salah, I am fairly consistent with Fajr now, going to the Mosque and reading Quran as often as I can. In truth, I think I've finally realised how short life is, how everything in the Dunya is going to perish and how I have to prepare for the next life. I am now trying to improve my Deen and character to Insha'Allah build a home in Jannah... with my future spouse who Allah has written for me. With all that out of the way - I am the youngest of 3 kids, older brother and older sister are both married with kids living elsewhere, I am still with my parents...and my 1 cat who is like my best friend these days lol (I really really love cats btw). Random facts: I play football every Saturday, I watch football too (Man United fan although I am trying to quit watching football as it just takes up too much time these days) I enjoy trying different coffee's, I train martial arts once a week, I love long walks - rain or sunshine, I cook for myself (I won't win any awards on Master Chef but I can put together a meal) I do my own laundry and ironing, it takes me about 20mins to iron one shirt but I get there in the end, I usually go mosque on Saturday evenings and help set up and serve food and clean up at their weekly mehfils. Kindness. I would like someone with a soft heart, I do not want someone who is harsh to others, or a spouse who is concerned in other people's business and involves in backbiting. I would like a spouse who is upfront and honest about how she feels and communicates with me. A spouse who genuinely fears Allah and knows this world is temporary and someone who can work for the Akhirah and Insha'Allah Jannah. I prefer someone who is simple with a happy disposition. Someone who is not materialistic with cars, clothes, entertainment etc. I dress simple, I'm not interested in nice cars or designer clothes etc so I'd prefer someone who also keeps things simple. I genuinely am not looking for much in a spouse, what I am looking for can be summed up as good character, soft nature and simple.
