بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم A young, American-raised Muslim seeking a like-minded deeni sister for marriage. Alhamdulillah, I’m a practicing individual and I believe in living our lives in accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah, and seeking knowledge to gain nearness to Allah azza wajal. I find knowledge to the be the antidote to many of the ummah's ills; currently I am focused on learning Arabic. I have a comfortable, well-paying career as a software engineer. I tend to be rather independent and have my own car and housing away from family, and would prefer things this way after marriage. I have no expectations for a wife to contribute financially to the household or to live with my parents, as I believe these are things a husband must provide. I'm also an active, well-known member of my local community, and am well connected with some of the shuyookh and leaders here. I like to keep physically active and go to the gym about 3 days a week. I love playing strategy games or first person shooters with my friends. I also have a passion for writing and have amassed a large collection of unfinished novels and stories. I'm usually a very laid-back and relaxed individual. I don't anger very easily. I like to joke around a lot and try not to take life too seriously. (Please note, I don't actually live with relatives. I currently live apart from my family with roommates. It didn't give me an option to select that)

The most important qualities to me are taqwa, intelligence, a sense of humor, and patience.
