As-salaam alaikum I would like to think I am quite a strong minded person and I know what I want in life (apart from when it’s time to decide what to eat). Open minded and non-judgemental type of person and as an introvert I am more of an observer. I'm quite an easy going person and like people who are straight forward and honest. I’d like to think I can make someone smile and have a caring nature towards others. I currently work and alongside this I am learning tajweed and memorising surah’s from the Quran, Alhamdulilah. I like to lead a simple life, I try and dress/live in a modest way, more of a minimalist approach I guess. I am searching for someone who is looking to get married and start a new journey with Islam as a base in their life. I have always been very conscious of Allah before making decisions in life and day to day activities. I would say recently I have become more practising and Islam is now becoming my lifestyle rather than part of my life. I pray all the 5 fardh salahs alhamdulilah, and I try to pray on time and plan my day around my 5 daily prayers. I try to learn more about Islam at any given opportunity, mostly through lectures and reading the Qur'an. I have the intention to wear hijab soon in she Allah (I understand hijab is not just a headscarf but in this case I am talking about covering the hair). I would be happy to discuss religion in more detail with someone who is interested in knowing. I live with my parents and as the only child, I always try to look after my parents the best I can and this will continue after I am also married in sha Allah as they do not have anyone else who can take care of them. Travelling is something I enjoy very much and exploring different cultures and new places excites me. I would love to continue this after marriage in sha Allah. I have a curious personality and I like history, art and learning about new things. Exploring nature and eating out with family and friends in my spare time and enjoying their company.

I would say ultimately, I am looking for someone who follows the Qur'an and sunnah and not culture. Who fears Allah and has good akhlaq and knows the importance of morals and principles. Someone who has a similar outlook on life as myself and shares similar traits and views etc, although having differences can be healthy and compromise is important in life to maintain balance. I'd like to get to know someone who essentially is funny, caring, respectful and understanding as a person. Who is patient, courageous and knows what kind of life they would like and is not influenced so easily by others. I am not a big social media fan and would prefer someone who shares the same stance. Good communication is key and is extremely important in a marriage so I would get along with someone who is open and honest. Having Islam as a foundation and building on it continuously, even after marriage. Someone who is open minded and not judgemental or forceful, finds forgiveness in their heart for others and is thankful for the smaller things in life (I perceive myself as someone who embodies these traits too). Also, I believe mutual attraction/chemistry is important, some people may have preferences for certain things, this is quite normal. I would be happy to talk in more detail with someone who has mutual interest in sha Allah.
